Synopsis

Route 66 has long been a road of opportunity, dreams, adventure, and possibility. As the centennial year draws to a close, attention turns from celebrating Route 66's past to shaping its next 100 years.

This session invites you to imagine the future of the Mother Road and how we can preserve, revitalize, and enjoy it for generations to come.

Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, representatives from the National Park Service, Route 66 Road Ahead Partnership, and National Trust for Historic Preservation will lead a conversation about the next century of Route 66.
